Autumn Tag: The Movie

After an unbearably hot summer, I am thrilled and pleased that we've officially entered the autumn season. Although in East Asia, most countries still have days where there is 30 degrees heat. I, however, am determined to get into the autumn spirits regardless of the current outside weather. If you are an Autumn/Winter-person and look forward to all that is spooky like me, then please, by all means, grab a cup of hot coffee or tea or cocoa, and enjoy this cinnamon and vanilla infused post all about Autumn.

I tag all of you that are reading this post and have a love for the harvest season to answer these autumn-themed questions to celebrate the start of this magical and beautiful season.

A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Seaside had always been a magical place for me.
The sandy, warm beach mixed with the salty ocean breeze.
Tropical palms trees with the scent of sweet coconut
The chilling sensation when the cold water touches your feet.

The wave isn't just your regular shade of blue,
More like 50 shades of blue colors on a painter's palette.
Mother Nature is the most genius artist,
She makes the sea a shade of sapphire like the gemstone,
Cerulean similar to an expensive eyeshadow color,
Ultramarine at the deep, unknown ocean floor.

When everything comes alive under the Mid-August heat,
It's a summertime madness, an exhilarating festivity.
Endless parties by the beach with everlasting music playing.
People gather to celebrate and appreciate nature's greatest masterpiece.

It's an odd yet wonderful contrast really,

We are obsessed with the sea and all that it has to offer,
We adore the cold splash and the cooling salt water.
Still, we know so little about the vast ocean.
It might seem like we have explored the Seven Seas since the Age of Discovery,
Yet what truly lurks under The Realm of Poseidon remains a mystery.
What mystical creatures exist in the deep ocean trench?
What adventurous stories are left untold two thousand leagues under the sea?

As it may be all that's unknown surrounding the high seas that keep us infatuated.
Humans are naturally drawn to the uncharted lands and unexplored territories.

Perhaps it's best the ocean remains a fascinating enigma to us all,
Keep us forever wondering,
and let our imagination runs wild in our midsummer night's dreams.
